THE MEN THAT TURNED
THE WORLD
UPSIDE DOWN

“For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs… we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.”

—Psalm 66:10–12

“Hope has two beautiful daughters — their names are Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are, and Courage to see that they do not remain as they are.”

—St. Augustine of Hippo

“Christianity has made of suffering a bond of fraternity, a pledge of immortality.”

—François-René de Chateaubriand, Génie du Christianisme

“It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires in the minds of men.”

—Samuel Adams, founding patriot

There is a fire that marks the men who change the world: Its name is Ignis Ardens — it is called the ardent fire. Unlike mortal fire which consumes and produces only ash and smoke, this fire is supernatural. Its heat and warmth does not consume; rather, it molds and shapes the spirits of men. This Pentecostal fire, like the flames of the burning bush, is what melts the hardened hearts of men and reforms their souls into imitation of Christ in every age. It is through the crucible of adversity and trial that the spirit of man is tested, refined, and ordered to Christ — and it is from this crucible that men emerge with strength refined, oriented to one greater Love.

The light from these divine flames illuminates all that we do. Throughout history, the works that endure and the names we honor are marked by their reflection of this Divine light. The same is true today. Fire forms iron. Iron sharpens iron. And sharpened blades reflect the light of their forge.

The furnace is lit, and the call has gone out. The only question is — will you answer?

YOU'VE SEEN THE STRUCTURE.
